Why blog?
I started blogging for several reasons. It’s become sort of a trend in my family, a great way for us to keep up even though we’re spread across North and South America. I was a communication major with a special interest in new media, so blogging is a good discipline to practice. I love reading other’s blogs; they provide knowledge, entertainment and inspire creativity. Enjoying other’s blogs ultimately inspire me to also create content.
Where am I now?
After finishing my bachelor’s degree in December of 2009 I picked up several freelance video jobs while still serving at Cerulean, the restaurant I worked at for over 2 years. Then on April 30th I was offered a job with Brandpoet (a branding and storytelling agency) and I began working on May 3rd, the week before graduation! I feel very blessed to have an awesome job that I enjoy doing, while learning and growing in the process! With Brandpoet I am the Marketing Project Manager for my alma mater, Grace College. I also still do freelance work for the United Way of Kosciusko County.
